April is a month of new beginnings. Trees and flowers begin to reawaken and put on their impressive spring display. Blossom fills the trees, and the lambs play in the sun dappled fields. Being based in the Cotswolds, we are blessed with stunning countryside all around our factory, and this is the best time of year to enjoy the sights and sounds of its beauty.

We have also had some new arrivals in our product range we are excited to share with you, and they will certainly put 'a spirit of youth' in your homes.

Introducing the Bodkin. This colourful range features an intricate basket weave design on the body and flairs hand painted in a high gloss finish which contrasts with the matt paint effect on the metalwork. Available in your combination of any of our twelve curated palette paint colours and five additional special paints for this range, you can really let your creative side come out! To complement our palette colours, we have a creamy Coconut, a luscious Strawberry, a rich Aubergine, an aquatic Amalfi Blue, and a classic Persian Blue. So many fabulous combinations to try on our configuration tool on the website. We have two sizes of pendant, five and ten lights, and a double wall light in this range. They are all sold as base only and look stunning with the Coupe de Vent lamps, but you can add shades with these to complete the look. We have styled ours with our Pleated Gathered shades made by out sister brand, The Light Shade Studio, and used an Ian Mankin Stripe fabric, but you could also use a hard backed shade like our Hidcote then select from one of our twenty-three fabric choices to pair with your fitting. We hope you love this playful range as much as we do.

We have also sourced some breathtaking ceramic table lamps from Europe. In the traditional blue and white colourway, our Devana and Fawkes table lamps will be an elegant addition to any scheme. The bases are hand thrown ceramics to which we have added our signature branded hardware and braided cable to create two decorative pieces. Devana is the goddess of nature, and this is depicted in the hand painted design, whilst Fawkes shows the phoenix rising from the sides of the lamp. Both are sold as base only so you can add your choice of shade, or you can buy them complete with an ivory pleated shade picked to perfectly show off the base. They are a classic design, and we feel they ideal addition to our current offering of table lamps.

Due to the continued success of our stylish Scallop pendant, we have now found a baby sister for it. The small Scallop has a diameter of 380mm compared to the 480mm of the original which makes it an even more versatile fitting for your home. It can be hung singly or try in groups for a greater impact. Like the Bodkin range, the Scallop is available in our five special edition colours so you can really let your imagination go wild! Or if you prefer, we have also added the rich antique brass and a soft brushed chrome as inners for a metallic gleam.

Our other addition is two new colours for our popular Lombok table lamp. With its woven design, the gloss hand painted finish brings out all the detail of the weave. In an earthy Juniper green and a luscious Strawberry, these two bases will make a colourful addition to your home. We have styled them with bespoke Gathered Pleated shades from our sister brand, The Light Shade Studio, but they would also look superb with one of our Tapered Drum shades. We are also able to use your own choice of fabric, once it has passed thermal testing, to create an individual fitting.

We hope that you enjoy our new designs as much as we do, and that you can build some unique pieces of your own.

Have a great Easter and note that our factory will be closed from 5pm on the 6th of April to 8am on the 11th of April.
