We have moved!
We are delighted to announce that we have moved showrooms in the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour. We haven't moved far, only next door, but we have a much larger space to display all our wonderful lighting. Our showroom manager Nicola Kemplay says, 'we are so excited to be expanding into our new space'.
The new showroom opens its doors ready for Design week in March and has been completely redesigned to our specifications. We now have a dedicated space where we can host talks, events, and workshops. This is something we enjoy as it allows us to share our passion for our products with so many more of our clients.
There will also be an area where customers can bring in their own table lamps to try with our bespoke shades, allowing you to design your own shades. Nicola will have made up samples of each of our thoughtfully chosen offering of shade fabrics, along with examples of the metallic and fabric linings. This will enable you to truly see if a particular colour will enhance your own fitting. It will also give our clients the opportunity to collaborate with some of the other exciting fabric and trimmings showrooms that are also based in the Design Centre. Our sister brand, The Light Shade Studio, can make shades in most of our styles in your choice of fabric once it has passed testing. We can add trims for further customisation, so you will end up with a shade that is completely unique.
The larger space will enable us to display many more of our collections, and we will be able to showcase all our hand painted and metallic finishes. We have a carefully curated palette of 12 standard colours giving something to suit most schemes. They range from the neutral tones of Cotswold Cream and Pebble to the vibrant Juniper Green and Marmalade which is featured on a striking Pigalle 21 light chandelier. In addition to this, for our Spring 2023 launch we are showcasing 5 new special edition colours on two of our new ranges. The stylish Scallop pendant and the brightly interwoven Bodkin will also be available in the creamy Coconut, the luscious Strawberry, the rich Aubergine, the aquatic Amalfi Blue, and the classic Persian Blue. Nicola will have examples of both these fittings in the showroom for you to be able to view. These two ranges are available for you to customise on our website using our configuration tool which allows you to visualise your chosen combination of colours.
Furthermore, the extended space allows us to exhibit more of our larger bespoke pieces. Our Hyde range can be easily augmented to scale up to fit a substantial space, and we are delighted to display a 60 light creating a beautiful ombre effect using 5 of our standard palette colours as well as a magnificent two tone blue Hyde 42 light in our new space. Andrew Cooper, our managing director said ' our Hyde range is something we are very proud of and to be able to display such impressive fittings is fantastic for us and allows our clients to see how versitile the design truly is'.
